Setup overview – Squeezebox Player

The skill can be set up in 2 easy steps.

• Activate and open the Alexa skill ‘Roomskills Squeezebox Player’ using the Alexa App
• Configure the skill on Roomskills.com

After the skill has been activated and using a login has been connected to Roomskills you login to the Roomskills web site and go to the area “Services”. There you select the newly created service of the type “Squeezeplayer” and there you will be guided through the installation process.

The only prerequisits are

• The skill Roomskills Squeezebox Player has to be installed via your Alexa Account and the account has been linked during the skill activation process.
• A Lyrion Music Server has to be installed with the music that should be played on the speaker (below you find information how to install the music server. You can also purchase a ready to use server in our shop).
• An account at Roomskills and the package Basic (an account will be automatically created during the installation process and a 4 weeks testing period is included to start with).
